72 Gahaishisan Enmeiin Mandaraji

ご本尊　大日如来 わずかにも

ご利益　病気平癒、安産

ご真言　おん あびらうんけん ばさらだどばん

ご詠歌　曼荼羅おがむ人はただ ふたたび三度び かえりざらまし

昼寝石

平安時代の歌人、西行が、昼寝をしたといわれる平らな石。西行は、この寺の近くで7年間暮らした。

ある時同行した人が境内の桜の木に笠をかけ、そのまま忘れていったと言われる笠かけ桜が昼寝石のそばにある。

Afternoon nap stone
This is a flat stone that is said Saigyo, a poet during the Heian period, often took a nap on this stone. He lived near this templed for seven years.
There is a cherry blossom by this stone which a person accompanying with him hang a kasa (a hat) and left it on the tree in this temple.
 

笠松大師

大師お手植えの「不老松」があったが、枯れてしまった。その幹に刻んだ大師像。

Kasamatsu daishi
Though there was an eternal youth pine tree planted by daishi, it died down. The daishi is drawn on the trunk of the tree.
