第61番札所 栴檀山 教王院 香園寺61 Sendansan Kyooin Koonji

ご本尊　大日如来

ご利益　安産、厄除け

ご真言　おん あびらうんけん ばざら だどばん

ご詠歌　後の世を 思えばまいれ香園寺 とめて止まらぬ 白滝の水

弘法大師は「安産、子育て、身代わり、女人成仏」の四誓願と祈祷の秘宝を寺に伝え、唐から持ち帰った大日如来を本尊とした。

 

Kobodaishi delivered four vows which are “easy birth, nurturing, sacrifice, Women Buddhahood” and hidden gem for prayer, and Dainichi which was taken from Tang dynasty became the principal image.

大聖堂

大講堂、本堂、大師堂が一体になっている鉄筋コンクリートの建物であり、観客席に座ってお参りができる。

Cathedral
This is a building that has a large auditorium, a main hall, and a hall with an enshrined statue of Kobodaishi. You can pray sitting on the auditorium.

子安大師堂

地元では、小松の子安さんと呼ばれているおり、胸に赤ん坊を抱いた像が祀られている。苦しむ妊婦を栴檀の香を焚いて加持をしたところ、婦人は安産したと伝えられている。

 

Koyasu daishi
Local people call the deity “Komatsu no Koyasu san,” and the statue holding a baby is enshrined. It is said that when a suffering pregnant woman was incanted using the incense of satinwood, she had an easy deliver.
