60 Ishizuchizan Fukuchiin Yokomineji

ご本尊　大日如来

ご利益　七難即滅、七福即生

ご真言　おん あびらうんけん ばざら だどばん

ご詠歌　たてよこに 峰や山辺に寺たてて あまねく人を 救うものかな

関所寺

信仰の度合をはかり、四国霊場では、四カ所ある遍路の関所。

罪を犯した遍路、邪悪の心を持つ遍路は、懺悔改心しなければ、罰を受け、先に進めない。

 

Sekishoji
This is one of the temples in Shikoku hallowed ground that has four barrier stations on the pilgrimage to measure how much faith pilgrims had.
The pilgrims who has committed a crime and had an evil mind must confess and convert, otherwise they get punished and cannot go on to the next temple.

石鎚山の頂に修験道の本尊である蔵王権現が現れ、その尊像を刻み寺を開創した。

山自体が、石鎚蔵王権現として祀られている。

 

The principal image of Zao Gongen appeared on the shugendo on the top of Ishizuchizan, and a temple was opened by engraving the statue of the deity.
The entire mountain is enshrined as Zao Gongen.

星供大師

観石鎚山は古くから山岳信仰の山として崇められていた。

弘法大師が修した星供養をあらわしている。

 

Seikyodaiji
Ishizuchizan is a mountain that has been revered as mount worship for a long time.
This is expressed as star express worship achieved by Kobodaishi.
