勝軍地蔵菩薩

大師自らが刻んだ本尊は、御丈一寸八分で右手に錫杖、左手には如意宝珠を持ち、軍馬にまたがる勇ましい姿をしている。

悪者を退治し、災いを祓ってくれるという地蔵さん。

ShogunJizoBosatsu

This main deity has brave figure which is about 5.5cm, has tin stick in right hand, wish-fulfilling jewel in left hand and riding horse. This Jizo sweep away bad evil.

五百羅漢像

日本最大の木像の羅漢像。

実聞、実名兄弟僧により創建されたが、火災で消失し、大正から昭和にかけ再建された。羅漢とは、仏・菩薩のランクに届く寸前の境地の修行僧悟りを得た修行僧のこと。

GohyakuRakan, 500 statue of Arahats
This is the biggest wooden Rakanzo in japan. It was destroyed by fire, and rebuilt it in Taisho to Showa period. Rakan means priest far advanced along the path of enlightenment, but who may not have reached full Buddhahood.
