第29番札所 摩尼山 宝蔵院 国分寺

The 29th Manizan Houzoin Kokubunji

「諸国で最も良い土地を選んで建てよ。」という天皇の勅願により建てられた。弘法大師が招福・除災の星祭の秘法を修め、中興した。

天下泰平・五穀豊穣・万民豊楽を願う祈願所として、金光明四天王護国之寺とも呼ばれている。

本堂と金堂

国の重要文化財に指定されている柿（こけら）葺きと寄棟造りの本堂。また、梵鐘と木像の薬師如来二体も需要文化財となっている。

境内全域が史跡として指定されている

These are important cultural properties. Main hall is made of Kokerabuki (Japanese Shake) and Yosemunezukuri (hip-roof). Alos the bell and two wooden YakushiNyorai is important cultural properties.

酒断ち地蔵

とある主婦が夫の酒飲みに困っていて、夫の禁酒を願かけしたところ、その願いを叶えてくれたので「酒断ち地蔵」と呼ばれている。

A wife was suffering that husband was heavy drinker. She came here to pray and her wish came true. That’s why this Jizo called “Sake dachi Jizo”.
