詰め彫り薬師
弘法大師が、自ら爪で楠の木の大木に薬師如来を刻み、奥の院をつくった。これは目、耳、口、鼻など首より上の病気に霊験があり、病気が平癒した人は、穴の開いた石を奉納する。
Kukai carved YakushiNyorai with his own nail from big cinnamamum camphora, and made inner sanctuary. This is for healing sickness of eye, ear mouth and nose. People who heal the sickness come back to dedicate it with stone has a hole.
本尊と脇仏
中四国で最大級の大日如来像と聖観音立像は、国指定重要文化財になっている。
