遍路ころがしの難所

１に焼山、２にお鶴、３に太龍と言われている。

ロープウェーは西日本最長の2775メートルで平成４年に完成した。

Aerial tram is 2775m which is longest in western japan, built in 1992.

西の高野

樹齢数百年の巨大杉、大檜に覆われた、巨大な境内は西の高野と呼ばれている。15歳で修行僧となった弘法大師が修行した場所である。

The big Japanese cedar is hundred years old. When Kukai was 15, he became a trainee monk, here is the place he was in practice. 

龍

本坊の廊下の天井には龍が描かれている。
