水大師堂（日限大師）

この地方の水が濁っているのをあわれんで、大師が杖で一夜にして掘ったと伝えられている井戸。

大師がこの井戸に自分の姿を映して、仏像に彫り、本尊したとも言われている。井戸の霊水は眼病に効く。

水面に自分の姿がうつれば無病息災だが、うつらなかったら3年以内の厄災に気をつける。日限大師は、５日、７日など、日を限って心願をかけると、ご利益を得る。

Hikagiri Daishi
When people in this area was suffering from unclean water, Kukai digged a well with one stick in one night. Kukai saw himself in this well and carved and became main deity. This spiritual water is good for eye disease. If you see your face on the water surface, you will not get illness. However, if you don’t see yourself, you should be careful within 3 years.
