第14番札所 盛寿山 延命院 常楽寺

The 14th Seijyuzan Enmeiin Jyorakuji

ご本尊　弥靭菩薩

ご利益　成仏、腎臓、糖尿病、眼病、寝小便、夜泣き、歯痛、足痛

ご真言　おんまい たれいや そわか

ご詠歌　常楽の 岸にはいつか至らまし 弘誓の船に 乗りおくれずば

弥勒菩薩

四国霊場の中で唯一の弥勒菩薩を本尊としている。釈迦入滅後、衆生を救済するといわれている未来仏。

京都と滋賀にある寺と、常楽寺の三体が、日本三体といわれている。

Miroku Bosatsu
This is the only temple worshipped Miroku Bosatsu as main deity. It is a bodhisattva who will appear on earth in the future to achieve complete enlightenment. The famous Miroku Bosatsu in Japan is Kyoto, Shiga and this temple. 

流水岩の庭園

断層がある大岩盤が露出し、境内と調和した自然の形が残っている。

Because of the earth fault, this big stone came up. Natural shape reminds being in harmony with the temple. 

あららぎ大師

木の股に小さな石像の「あららぎ大師」をまつっている。あららぎの霊木を煎じて老人に飲ませたところ治癒したと伝えられ、アララギの霊木はあらゆる病気に霊験があると言われている。

There is small stone statue “Araragi Daishi” in branch of tree. The story said if old people drink roasted this tree, any illness will be heal. From that story, it is said this tree can heal any illness.

地蔵菩薩像

子供の寝しょうべん、夜泣き、歯痛、足の痛みなどに霊験があると言われている。

​

This is good for bedwetting, night cry, tooth pain and feet pain.
