第13番札所 大栗山 花蔵院 大日寺

The 13th Ogurizan Kazoin Dainichiji

ご本尊　十一面観音菩薩

ご利益　ボケ封じ、幸せ観音

ご真言　おんまかきゃろにきゃ そわか

ご詠歌　阿波の国 一の宮とはゆうだすき かけてたのめや 此の世後の世

弘法大師が護摩修法をしていると空中に大日如来が現れ「この地は霊地なれば一宇を建立すべし」と告げられた。

現在、本堂の本尊は行基作の十一面観世音菩薩で、脇侍として並んでいる大日如来が弘法大師の刻んだ元の本尊となる。

When Kukai was practicing the Goma ritual, he received instruction from Dainich Nyorai that “Built a temple if there is no temple in this are”. Now main deity in main hall is Juichimen Kanzeon Bosatsu made by Gyogi, and next to it there is Dainichi Nyorai which was made by Kukai, previous main deity.

しあわせ観音の寺

オガタマノキの前に、合掌した両手の中に、蓮を持って笑みをうかべる小さな観音像が入った観音さま。幸を願い祈るとよいといわれている。

This smiling small Kannon holding lotus between pairs of hands. Here is place to pray hapiess.

おびんずる

十六羅漢のひとりであり、釈迦の弟子でもある。

祈願と魔除けと除病の功徳がある。願い事を唱えながらなでると願いが叶うと言われている。

Obinzuru(pindola Bharadvaja) is one of 16 Rakan, and disciple of Shaka. It can get rid of bad luck and illness. Make and chant a wish here.
 

阿波一ノ宮神社

道路隔てた向かいにある神社。

神仏習合の時代には一体化していた。

This shrine stands on the other side of the road. It used to be combined with Buddhism and Shintoism in japan.
