第11番札所 金剛山 一乗院 藤井寺

The 11th Kongozan Ichijyoin Fujiidera

ご本尊　薬師如来

ご利益　治癒、長寿、悪疫退散

ご真言　おん ころころ せんだり まとうぎそわか

ご詠歌　色も香も 無比中道の藤井寺 真如の波の たたぬ日もなし

真言宗から臨済宗に改宗している寺である。

霊場の中で、唯一「ふじい＜でら＞」と読む。阿波一番の難所、焼山寺へ続くへんろ転がしにつづいている。

This temple was converted to Rinzai School from Shingon School. It is only temple called Fujii “Dera” among 88 temples. Other temples called “ji”. “JI” and DERA” means temple in Japanese. Mountain rough path about 13km to the 12stage is difficult part.

厄除薬師本尊

二度の火災から免れたため、厄除け薬師として信仰を集めている。

平安時代に作られた、四国霊場最古の仏様で、重要文化財。

本堂の天井には、三十畳のスケールの雲龍画がある。

Main deity
This Yakushi escaped from fire twice, so that it worshipped as getting rid of bad luck. This is important cultural property made in Heian Period. This is the oldest Buddha among 88 temples.

白竜弁天堂

八本の手を持つ白竜弁天堂。

八本の手には、弓、矢、刀などを持ち、金運、芸能などの願いを叶えてくれると言われている。

This white dragon had 8 hands. 8hands have arrows, bow, and sword. It can grant wish about money and entertainments. 
 

弘法大師手植えの藤

弘法大師４２歳の時、厄難を除くためにこの地で護摩を修して薬師如来を刻んだ。

そして、堂宇を建立した境内に藤を植えた。大師が修行した八畳岩は、本堂から200メートルあがったところにある。

Wisteria

When Kukai was 42, he carved the YakushiNyorai and founded the temple to get rid of bad luck. At that time, he planted this Wisteria. Hachijo rock locted 200m up the mountain from main hall.
